We set the highest standards and go beyond trends to unlock the authentic story of the wood we use. Our cutting boards are made from North American hardwoods such as cherry, maple, oak and walnut. Materials, finish and craftsmanship – we are uncompromising in the standards we set ourselves and it shows in the results we can achieve for our clients.
*Based on the unique requirements of our customers and the perfect wood required for their piece, we occasionally source species of wood that are not grown in the United States.
Our Story

About the Founder
Bill grew up in a town in Northern New Jersey, never thinking life would bring him South to the third coast. His childhood serves as the building blocks for where he learned the value of hard work from his parents and grandparents. He attentively paid attention, as much as a young boy can, to his father and grandparents as they tinkered in the garage, built a patio deck or coffee table. Everything was done with such precision until perfection was achieved. This work ethic has remained with Bill and is the forefront of 3rd Coast Woodsmith.

My passion of woodwork goes beyond just measuring and crafting the perfect design. I love seeing and hearing my client’s when they place that perfect piece in their home, office, RV, or wherever it may be. I look forward to sharing that experience with you.
I am absolutely thrilled with my new hall table! It is exactly the focal point that I wanted for our front door entrance.
